Wolverines season ends in semifinal

The season is over for the Swift Current Wolverines.

Moose Jaw beat them 11-6 on Saturday in the semifinal of the junior Prairie Gold Lacrosse League.

Isaac Froese and Ryder Turko each scored twice for Swift Current in a losing cause.

They were up 2-1 early and tied at 3 in the first period, before Moose Jaw pulled away.

Riley Schafer and Grady Henderson had Swift Current's other goals. 

Ryder Gilroy picked up 4 goals and 2 assists for the Mustangs.

They'll play Prince Albert in the league final.
