The public is being invited to weigh in on a proposed disc golf course in Blackfalds.

The Optimist Club of Blackfalds has proposed a new disc golf course within the town, and residents are invited to provide feedback, ask questions or share concerns.

An open house will be held Wednesday, July 9, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the main hall at the community centre.

The proposed nine-hole course would span two locations: holes 1 to 4 are planned for the greenspace north of Eastpointe Drive and McKelvey Close, while holes 5 to 9 would be located in the greenspace that includes the Pine Crescent Community Garden, playground, outdoor rink and skate deck.

Town of Blackfalds staff will be on site during the open house to answer questions and gather feedback.
