Volunteers are needed to help build Boissevain School's new middle years playground, says fundraising committee members Heather Janssens and Susan Jackson.

'The Boissevain School Playground Committee is beyond excited to announce we are at the ‘building stage’ of phase one of the Boissevain School Playground Project. A Certified Playground Install Supervisor will be on site to lead the build, and we need volunteers to help during the week of July 21-26!'

'Construction or building experience is not needed, just a willingness to work as part of a team to build the playground for our community. Water, snacks and lunch will be provided during the day. Each build day will start at 7:30 am and end approximately 5/5:30.'

Individuals, businesses or community groups are also able to support the build process by providing lunch or snacks for the building crew on one of the days.

In preparation for the new playground, Ross Wilkinson, Nate Wilkinson & Rodney Maddess from Wilkinson Trucking were on site on Tuesday, July 1 to remove the old Middle Years Playground equipment. Before the build process begins, they will also be excavating and preparing the site for building.
