Two former Swift Current Broncos have signed contracts with the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlies.
Swift Current native Ryan McCleary and fellow former Bronco Ben King both signed one-year AHL deals with the Marlies.
McCleary, a defenceman, spent last season with Cincinnati in the ECHL. He put up 12 points over 69 games.
He played the final season of his four-year WHL career with the Broncos.
King spent last season with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL producing 26 points in 64 games.
He suited up for parts of three seasons for the Broncos before being traded to the Red Deer Rebels.
Meanwhile, Swift Current's Tyson Empey inked a new AHL deal with the Moose.
He had 13 points in 59 games for the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Winnipeg Jets.
