Arrest Warrant
On July 7th at 11:55AM a 31-year-old female attended Brandon Police Service (BPS) to turn herself in on her Endorsed Warrant for Arrest. She was arrested and later released by way of Undertaking with a court date of August 11th, 2025.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle
On July 7th at 9:41AM a report of a stolen 2006 Black Jeep Grand Cherokee came into BPS. The vehicle was spotted parked in the 1000 block of Lorne Avenue at 2:44PM and was brought back to BPS for processing. Incident remains under investigation.
Breach of Undertaking / Carrying Concealed Weapon /Possession of a Weapon
On July 7th at 6:30PM police were called to the 1300 block of 22nd Street for a suspicious person. Police attended, located the male and a search incidental located a filleting style knife concealed in the back of the 31-year-old male’s pants. He was on conditions not to possess a weapon. The male was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on July 8th, 2025.
Minor Consumption
In the last 24 hours two separate incidents saw a 14-year-old female as well as a 16-year-old female arrested. Both were called in by concerned family members. They were held at BPS to be released with ticket once sober to a parent.
Arrest Warrant
On July 8th at 1:44AM BPS members conducted a pedestrian stop on Riverheights Drive. It was confirmed the 33-year-old female was wanted on an Unendorsed Warrant for Arrest. (Failure to Attend Court / Resist Arrest). She was arrested, held in BPS detention cells and will attend court in the morning.
Arrest Warrant
On July 8th at 2:26AM police located a male in the 200 block of Park Avenue who was known to be a subject of an Unendorsed Warrant of Arrest. (Failure to Comply Probation). The 33-year-old male was arrested, held in BPS detention cells and will attend court in the morning.
IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act)
On July 8th at 3:06AM police received reports of an intoxicated male in the 000 block of 26th Street North. The male had reportedly been seen dancing in the street but had then fallen and was lying in middle of the road. The male was located by police and found to be highly intoxicated. No identification initially, but later the 29-year-old male was identified. He was arrested, held in BPS detention cells and will be released once sober.
Break, Enter, Commit Assault / Breach of Court Order
On July 7th at 10:49PM a male had attended a residence of a female who had a protection order against him. The male forced entry and pushed her by the throat. The intoxicated male left the residence but was later located by police. He was arrested, held in BPS detention cells and will attend court in the morning.

Driving While Disqualified / Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
On July 8th at 9:02PM a Brandon Police Service (BPS) officer conducted a vehicle stop with a black Kia Rio holding three occupants. The vehicle came back as previously stolen (RCMP file). A 38-year-old male was charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and given a ticket for driving while suspended. A court date of September 22nd, 2025 was set and he was released via Undertaking.
A 55-year-old male passenger was the subject of an Endorsed Warrant of Arrest for DNA. DNA was collected and he was released. No court date required. The third occupant was released without charge.
The RCMP was notified of the vehicle’s recovery, and the vehicle was towed.

In the past 24 hours three Breaches of the Peace occurred.
Breach of Release Order
On July 7th at 10:25PM while on an unrelated call at a motel on Middleton Avenue, police located a 38-year-old male who had run into the suite upon police arrival and locked himself into a bathroom. Eventually the male came out and it was revealed that he had a No Contact Order for the female of which he was with (and of whom police was executing a Warrant on). He was arrested, held in BPS and will attend court in the morning on July 9th, 2025.
