A busy season continues for the Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village and Museum.
Normally, admission to the exhibits is $10 for adults. But on July 20, that fee is lowered to just a toonie.
“Family Day is something we came up with a few years ago,” said Sukanen Ship spokesperson Evan Davis. “It makes it affordable to come and bring your family for a day and experience the museum and hopefully get you to come back.”
Along with the regular exhibits, there will be a number of other activities such as tractor and horseback rides, rope making, and more.
The museum is also giving you the chance to win a vintage car.
“An absolutely beautiful 1966 Comet Cyclone GT convertible,” explained Davis. “It’s fully restored, it runs and drives, and you can hop in it and drive it home when you win it on the 7th of September.”
Tickets are $20 each or 3 for $50. You can pick them up at the museum or give them a call: 306-693-7315.
