It was a beautiful and sunny day out at the Glendale Golf and Country club for the Adult and Teen Challenge Golf Tournament earlier this week.

The golf tournament was held on Tuesday, July 8, to raise money to support the work that Adult & Teen Challenge does to provide treatment and services for addiction and recovery.

"We are fundraising money because we are a non-profit organization; we rely on donations," said Josh, a student of the program from the Denare campus.

In addition to the golf tournament held to raise funds, a duck race raffle draw was held for the Denare Beach Campus, which was affected by the fires in June.

"We are trying to raise money to get our Denare Beach campus rolling out again. It unfortunately burnt down in the North fires by Flin Flon, " continued Josh.

ATC has been around since 1958 and has programs running in over 125 countries, as stated on their website

Those involved with the organization had powerful testimonies to share of God's transforming power through ATC.

Darcy, a student in the program, said, "It's been lifesaving for me."

Will, a graduate of the program and a now-employee, shared about his feelings of destitution and hopelessness in addiction before meeting Christ through ATC.

Adult & Teen Challenge continues to be a beacon of hope and light in Christ for those who need it most.
