Summer in Estevan is anything but slow. From bustling community events to after-hours mingles and midday golf tournaments, local professionals are keeping busy while the sun shines. In the thick of it all is the Estevan Chamber of Commerce — helping connect people, advocate for the region, and spotlight the businesses that make it thrive.

Chamber Executive Director Merissa Scarlett joined the SUN102 morning show with a roundup of what’s coming up next, including an update on Networking on the Green, a reminder that EBEX Award nominations are open, and a look back at a memorable train ride with Long Creek Railroad.

“It was a cool opportunity to meet with some of our leaders... and just learn more about the importance of a short line and what it does for the economy in the area.”— Merissa Scarlett, Executive Director, Estevan Chamber of Commerce
