High River Town Council is inviting residents to voice their thoughts and concerns regarding land use changes in the Ellis Area.

A Public Hearing is set for July 14 at 3 p.m. in the High River Council Chambers.

The public hearing is an opportunity to discuss a proposed land use change in the Ellis Area Concept Plan for future multi-unit housing.

The change is to a parcel of land in the Ellis Area Concept Plan from an urban reserve district to a traditional neighbourhood district to accommodate a multi-unit housing project in the future. The public and stakeholders can participate by speaking in person during the hearing.

Any written submissions for the hearing must have been submitted to the town one week before the hearing date.

Those who speak during the hearing are given a five-minute time limit to make comments.
