The Killarney Cruise Night was cut short last night as a severe weather system crept in from the west. The decision was made to end the evening a half hour earlier and get vintage vehicles on the move, and folks off the street, as tornado warning alerts for Boissevain were popping up on cell phones.

What started out as a tropical 32-degree evening down Broadway slowly turned into a bit of a panicky end.  While the incoming cloud cover was a welcome sight from the heat, the nastiness to the clouds did not go unnoticed.  The severe weather alert confirmed this was a storm cell that had the potential for heavy winds, rain and hail.
