The Moose Jaw Humane Society (MJHS) is now accepting applications for Luna! Luna is a 2 1/2-year-old spayed female blue heeler/husky mix with the most captivating blue eyes. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Luna might be the perfect match for you!
Luna is playful, intelligent, and protective. She knows how to sit, lie down, shake a paw, come, and spin. She prefers women, is not good with young children, and is reactive to other dogs on leash but plays well off-leash with tolerant dogs. Luna is not destructive when left free-range at home and is used to being crated at night. She stands at knee height and weighs 15.8 kg (34.76 lbs).
Luna has been through several homes and needs a stable, loving environment. She loves her toys and treats and will bark at the window if she sees people or pets walking past. Anyone with experience with blue heelers will not be surprised by her behavior.

Once your application is approved, MJHS will contact you to arrange a meet-and-greet with Luna. If you decide she is not the right fit for you after meeting her, there is no obligation to complete the adoption process.
