We take a lot of advance equipment for granted these day. Farming has come a long way since people had to tend to their fields by hand in southeast Saskatchewan. However, every now and then, a reminder of where we came from and how we processed our food will help us appreciate the food that we have today.
That's the goal of the annual Threshermen's Reunion event in Frobisher, set for this Sunday July 13.
"This event started back in 1972 by our grandfathers, even great grandfathers and it's been going for quite a while. We do it every year and we always have a good turn out," shared Stephen Ward, the president of the Frobisher Threshermen's Club.
We chatted with both Stephen Ward and Rod Mutton, the president and vice president of the Frobisher Threshermen's Club.
