Hundreds of people were in attendance at the Carman Country Fair on Friday.

The Carman Country Fair boasts a rich history spanning over 140 years. Hosted by the Dufferin Agricultural Society Inc., it celebrates the cultural heritage of the surrounding communities.

The Fair began on Thursday, July 10, and is on until Saturday, July 12th. On Friday, there were a variety of activities to enjoy, including a horse show, face painting, a derby, and an exhibit hall.

The Dufferin Historical Society was present at the fair and had a sale of items, such as clothes and books, to support the museum.

The Dufferin Museum was established and continues to "preserve relics and antiques of pioneer life," as stated on their website.

There were food trucks and other vendor booths for attendees to browse as well.

The Carman Country Fair is about celebrating the achievements of the past, while looking forward to the future for what it holds.
