Over 100 people attended Praise Xplosion this Saturday at Glory and Peace International Church. It was open and free to all to attend.
Praise Xplosion is an annual worship event that features praise, worship, prayer, and other performances, including spoken-word poetry and dance.
It has been held for the past five years and is part of STO Global Missions Inc.
Sto Global Missions Inc. is a local ministry that shares the Good News through serving the community.
Their mission is to, "offer spiritual teachings that inspire and uplift, and to deliver practical support that addresses the immediate needs of those facing hardship," as stated on their website.
Volunteers and staff echoed sentiments about the importance of Praise Xplosion being open to people of all backgrounds.
"Praise Xplosion is a gathering of people irrespective of their culture to lift up the name of God", explained Gbolahan Oduntan, the C.E.O. of STO Global Missions Inc.
With over ten featured artists, Praise Xplosion consisted of both international and local artists.
"Praise Xplosion is where local Gospel artists come together and praise God," said Korede Odunlade, a volunteer with Praise Xplosion.
Saturday was a powerful opportunity for people to worship God in fellowship, regardless of tribe and nation.
