The Weyburn Regional Judging Competition brought in 51 competitors, ranging from ages six to 21.
Participants judged market lambs from the Weyburn 4-H Sheep Club, chickens from the Brokenshell Multiple 4-H Club, red spring wheat provided by Viterra, and market steers and bred heifers shown in the Weyburn 4-H Show & Sale.
Janelle Osborn, Pam Bartlett, Brodyn LaBatte, Olivia Woytiuk, and Ashlee Wilgenbusch acted as judges for the event.
Winning the Cloverbud age division was Audree Jutras from the Benson 4-H Beef Club, winning the Junior division was Abigail Jutras from the Benson 4-H Beef Club, the intermediate Division winner was Andie Fradette from the Pangman-Ogema 4-H Beef Club, and winning the Senior division was Amy Fradette from the Pangman-Ogema 4-H Beef Club.
The top eight competitors from the Regional Judging Competition are Amy Fradette, Cash Wilgenbusch, Payton Caldwell, Liam Watson, Rowyn Shier, Sarah Felske, Colton Lunde, and Hudson Vandenhurk.
These top eight participants will now move on to represent Weyburn at Provincial Judging in Yorkton on August 8th and 9th.
