Families gathered at Ethel Tucker Park on Tuesday, July 15, for the return of the annual Teddy Bear Picnic.
Now in its 22nd year, the event was organized by the McMan Family Resource Network with the goal of connecting families to local supports in a fun, family-friendly setting.
More than 20 community organizations from across the Foothills took part, including Rowan House, Inclusion Foothills, and the Okotoks Family Resource Centre.
Booths were set up with games, crafts, and activities for children and parents to enjoy together. Some of the day's entertainment included balloon animals and a magician.
Families were invited to bring their teddy bears, lay out picnic blankets, and enjoy lunch in the park while taking in the entertainment.
