July 16 Report:
Theft Under $5000
On July 15th at 8:40AM Brandon Police Service (BPS) members attended a residence in the 200 block of 27th Street and arrested a 29-year-old female for a theft from a store in the 800 block of 18th Street that occurred on July 13th, 2025. The female was brought to BPS for processing and was later released on Undertaking with a court date of September 22nd, 2025.
Operation While Impaired / Operation Over .08
On July 15th at 9:40AM, officers attended to a residence in the 1500 block of Stickney Avenue and arrested a 25-year-old female. The female was in a motor vehicle accident on May 27th, 2025. After a production order was written to get the results of her blood while being treated for this accident, the records showed blood alcohol of 242 mgs%. She was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of July 21st, 2025.
Mischief Under $5000
Surveillance footage from out front of a business the 800 block of Pacific Ave, showed a female approaching a vehicle in the parking lot at approximately 9:15PM on July 14th. She appeared to make a stabbing motion 4–5 times toward the tire, which was later found to be completely flat. The individual seen in the video was identified and subsequently arrested on July 15th at 10:24AM near 7th Street and Pacific Avenue. The 31-year-old female was later released on Undertaking with a court date of September 2nd, 2025.
Arrest Warrant
On July 15th at 2:10PM while in custody for Breach of the Peace, a 33-year-old female was arrested for an Unendorsed Warrant that just came in. She was held in detention cells to attend court in the morning on July 16th, 2025.
IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act) / Breach of the Peace
In the past 24 hours eight individuals were arrested for IPDA/Breach of the Peace. They will be released once sober.
Theft Under $5000
At 3:13PM on July 15th, police were dispatched to a business in the 900 block of Victoria Ave for a reported theft. The suspect, a 49-year-old male, was located in the area based on video surveillance and was arrested. Stolen candy was found in his possession. He was released on Undertaking with a court date of September 25th, 2025.
Arrest Warrant
On July 15th at 9:35PM officers located and arrested a 16-year-old female youth known to have an Unendorsed Warrant for Arrest. (Failure to Comply Release Order). The female was held for court in the morning on July 16th, 2025.
Assault with a Weapon
On July 15th at 11:41PM police were called to the 400 block of 12th Street for an Assault. A 25-year-old male threw a paint can at an 18-year-old female striking her in the leg. The highly intoxicated and belligerent male was arrested, held in detention cells and will be released once sober in the morning on Undertaking with a court date of September 25th, 2025.
Arrest Warrant
On July 16th at 12:33AM police attended to Brandon Regional Health Centre and arrested an intoxicated 36-year-old male on the strength of his Endorsed Warrant for Arrest. (Breach of Probation x2). The male will be released once sober on an Appearance Notice with a court date of August 7th, 2025.

Breach of the Peace
In the last 24 hours there were five individuals who were arrested for Breach of the Peace.

In the last 24 hours three individuals were arrested for IPDA.
Assault
On July 14th at 9:04 PM, police responded to a reported disturbance involving a male and female arguing at a hotel on Middleton Avenue. Upon arrival, officers determined that the 30-year-old male had struck the 28-year-old female in the eye, resulting in visible swelling. EMS attended to assess the female. The male was arrested and held in BPS detention cells. He is scheduled to appear in court the morning of July 15th, 2025.
Theft of Motor Vehicle / Mischief Under $5000
As a result of the investigation into the golf cart theft on July 13th, a 38-year-old male suspect was arrested later that evening. During a subsequent interview, he admitted to the theft. He was charged and released on an Undertaking, with a scheduled court appearance on September 18th, 2025.
Arrest Warrant
On July 14th at 11:58AM Dauphin RCMP requested BPS attend Brandon Correctional Centre to execute an Unendorsed Warrant of Arrest on a 46-year-old male. The Warrant was executed, and the male remained in BCC custody for court on July 15th, 2025.
Endorsed RCMP Arrest Warrant + Various New Charges
On July 14th at 5:07 PM, police responded to a report in the 2400 block of Ottawa Avenue regarding a female waving a knife around. The 34-year-old woman, identified as the male’s ex-girlfriend, had attempted to stab him and had also damaged a television and smashed the windshield of the 41-year-old male’s vehicle. Upon police arrival, the woman provided false identification, resulting in an additional charge of Public Mischief. She was arrested and held in BPS detention cells, with a court appearance scheduled for the morning of July 15th, 2025. Charges: Endorsed RCMP Warrant of Arrest, Assault with a Weapon, Mischief Under $5000, and Public Mischief.
