Manitoba RCMP are asking the public for help after a large windmill was reported stolen from a property in the Rural Municipality of Grey earlier this month.
According to Carman RCMP, the theft was reported on the morning of July 7, around 9:00 a.m. Investigators believe the windmill was taken sometime between July 4 and July 6.
The stolen structure is described as silver in colour, standing approximately 25 feet tall with a six-foot blade. Given its considerable size, police say it's likely someone in the area may have witnessed suspicious activity.
"Due to the nature of the sheer size of the stolen property, RCMP believe someone in the area may have seen something," the detachment stated in a release.
