An annual event put on by the Town of Okotoks will leave people fed, not fed up.
Taste of Okotoks is returning for its 13th year, but due to construction, it will be happening in a new location.
Due to the ongoing construction on North Railway Street, the event will be happening at the Arts and Learning Campus Plaza on Riverside Drive.
At Taste of Okotoks, people will be able to enjoy sweet treats and savoury eats, and with meat-heavy and meat-free dishes, they have something to satisfy the cravings of attendees.
There will be over 20 vendors onsite selling food, including 94 Take the Cake, New Mr. Spud Cafe, Stacked, and more, selling their treats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
As part of this event, people will be required to purchase sampling tickets, which cost $1 per ticket, which are then accepted like currency by the vendor.
The cost of samples ranges from 1 to 7 tickets, but according to the Town, one Adult "Full Belly" will cost about 20 tickets, while an adult looking for a snack will want 10 tickets.
Families with 2 adults and 2 young children can expect to use between 25 and 60 tickets, depending on how hungry they are and if they are looked to be left not wanting any more.
Due to Taste of Okotoks, the town will be closing down Riverside Drive.
Bike lovers are able to pedal their way down to the event and leave their bike with the Town's Bike Valet, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
