Over 35 campers were in attendance at Elim Chapel's Vacation Bible School on Thursday.

The Elim Chapel VBS began on Monday, July 14th, and is ongoing until Friday, July 18th.

"VBS at Elim is for kids from the age of five to twelve," said Joel D'Souza, the Children and Youth Pastor.

This week has consisted of fun activities and engaging Bible lessons for the campers to participate in.

"Kids come here to have fun, learn about Jesus, and build community," continued D'Souza.

On Thursday, there were visitors from the Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Center to deliver an animal presentation to the campers.

VBS at Elim Chapel is primarily volunteer-organized and led, with volunteers devoting many hours to ensure its success.

Campers shared how much they've enjoyed their time this week.

"I like the games and the snacks," shared Jeremy, a camper, about his favourite part of the week.

He added, "I also enjoy how my friends are here and the way that the teachers teach."

Campers are sure to remember their adventurous week at Elim's Chapel VBS for months to come.
