This weekend is the biggest little fair in Saskatchewan, the annual Creelman Fair, and country artist Justin LaBrash is excited to be part of the lineup.
“We are going to be playing at the Creelman Country Fair this Saturday, July 19th,” he said. “We’re not the only entertainment that day, there is so much going on. There’s a kids midway, other entertainment on stage, there’s a pig scramble, which I remember participating in when I was a kid and it was an absolute blast. So we’re very excited to go hang out there for the day.”
He noted that it’s a great experience to get to be the entertainment at events that he went to as a kid.
“It’s a very cool kind of full circle thing to see kids around the same age that I remember going to these events as and they’re having just as much fun as I did and it’s just amazing to watch if from a different perspective.”
Justin and True North will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. and will play until roughly 10:30 p.m. Ahead of their performance will be shows from Brett Down, Emily Dubois and Winsome Kind.
“It’s going to be high energy, as always,” he said about his show. “Going to be a mix of a few covers, lots of originals and just a lot of fun. We like to have fun up there.”
