On July 3rd, Morden Police received a report of a motor vehicle collision with a city-owned building at 34 Stephen Street.
‘We possibly have a driver’
The collision, which left damage to the southeast corner of the structure, occurred sometime between June 30th and July 3rd, said the weekly police report.
“We had a time frame [within] which the building had been struck by a vehicle,” said Inspector Sean Aune of the Morden Police Service. “It sounds like we possibly have a driver identified for that, but it’s under investigation right now as we speak.”
A report from a community member
Inspector Aune said the incident was reported by a community member who saw the destruction.

“It was a significant strike on the outside of the building that actually caused some internal damage as well,” said Inspector Aune. “There is a significant impact mark on the outside of the building, ... so there's going to be some definite follow-up with this.”
Morden Police Service asks anyone with information about this incident to contact them.
