Manitoba's five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 6.2 per cent.
There are 206 COVID-19 cases in Manitoba, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 70,340. One new omicron variant case has been identified, bringing the total number of cases to six.
There are 1,779 active cases and 67,204 recoveries.
New cases by health region include:
- 78 in Winnipeg, 38 people who are not fully vaccinated
- 73 in Southern, 46 people who are not fully vaccinated
- 23 in Prairie Mountain, 13 people who are not fully vaccinated
- 17 in Interlake-Eastern, nine people who are not fully vaccinated
- 13 in Northern, four people who are not fully vaccinated

Hospitalizations and deaths
There are two more deaths, bringing the total to 1,357.
There are 139 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, with 88 of those people having active cases. Out of the active cases, 53 people are not vaccinated, 30 people are fully vaccinated, and five people are partially vaccinated.
There are 34 people in ICU with COVID-19, 26 of those people having active cases. Out of the active cases, 24 people are not vaccinated, and the other two are fully and partially vaccinated.
Outbreaks
There are no new COVID-19 outbreak sites in Manitoba.
Outbreaks are being declared over at:
- Ecole Assiniboine's Grade 5 class
- Portage District General Hospital Dialysis Unit
- Country Meadow personal care home
Enforcement
Fourteen tickets and 27 warnings were given out last week.
Officials have handed out four tickets to individuals, and 14 tickets to individuals for failure to wear a mask in an indoor public place.
