A grizzly bear bluff charged a pair of hikers at Troll Falls on Saturday.
The popular tourist hiking spot in Kananaskis Country now has a warning sign posted by Alberta Parks.
The warning also covers the lower portion of Skogan, Hay Meadows and the south portion of Stoney Trail.
The trail remains open as this is only an advisory.

Alberta Parks reminds that bears can be encountered anywhere, and here are some tips to help prevent surprise encounters.
- Keep all attractants secure from bears, including food, garbage, recycling, pet food and any other scented item. Never leave these items unattended.
- Make plenty of noise and travel in groups.
- Be aware of your surroundings. Look and listen for bears and their signs.
- Keep your pet on a leash.
- Carry bear spray. Make sure it’s easily accessible and that you know how to use bear spray.
