Planned outage at water treatment planned scheduled for tomorrow

Construction at the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant (BPWTP) is leading to another planned production outage, scheduled to begin tomorrow at 7 a.m.

While the outage is expected to last for 12 hours, residents are advised that reservoir capacity will allow water service to continue uninterrupted for the duration of the outage. 

Water and wastewater staff with the City of Moose Jaw will monitor reservoir levels during the outage and updates will be provided if any changes to the project occur.

Production is slated to resume at 7 p.m. tomorrow.
