Get ready for a roaring good time in Eastend this weekend as the community gets set to host its beloved Dino Days festival.
Tourism and economic development officer for Eastend, Rosa Vasquez, says "the three-day family-friendly celebration kicks off Friday and runs through Sunday, jam-packed with activities, entertainment, and community spirit. "
From Friday’s fireworks finale at the campground to Saturday’s full slate of events, including the ever-popular pancake breakfast, parade, and high-energy demolition derby, there’s no shortage of excitement.
Sunday rounds things out with a relaxing Caesar and BBQ brunch, and Vasquez, adds "interdenominational church service, and even a scavenger hunt through Eastend’s rich history, linking the T. Rex Discovery Centre and the Historical Museum."
Whether it’s the thunder of derby cars, the crackle of fireworks, or the charm of a small-town parade (complete with a rare working steam engine), East End is the place to be this weekend.
