Last night the 15U AAA East Central Dodgers fell into a hole early and couldn’t recover as they were defeated by the Saskatoon Astros 11-3. 

The Astros scored six runs in the top of the first inning to grab a sizeable advantage early in the contest.  

East Central responded with a pair of runs in the bottom of the first, but the Astros regained the six-run lead scoring a pair in the top of the second inning. 

The Dodgers scored another run in the bottom of the sixth inning before the Astros capped off the scoring with three runs in the seventh. 

Sawyer Pollon and Kyler Fischer each had two hits for the Dodgers.  

Camden Suchan pitched four scoreless innings, allowing two hits and recorded a pair of strikeouts.  

Next action for the Dodgers is a doubleheader in Muenster on Saturday at James Korte Field against the South East Twins beginning at 1:00.
