The sudden closure of Tallboys’ main building and fuel services in St. Claude, following a fire early Friday morning, will have a significant impact on the local community.

As a key hub offering fuel, vendor, motels, a restaurant, and a lounge, Tallboys plays an important role in daily life for residents and travellers alike.

While the fire has shut down these operations, the carwash remains open for customers. The business says it is working diligently to restore full service as soon as possible.

The team at Tallboys expresses regret about the disruption and appreciates the patience of their customers.

“We want to apologize to all of our loyal customers for the inconvenience and would like to thank everyone for your continued support,” the business noted in a social media post.

Tallboys promises to keep customers updated on the recovery progress.

“Times are uncertain but we will do our best to update everyone through our social media pages,” adds the post.

In the meantime, customers can still access the carwash, which continues to operate unaffected by the fire.
