There are two new deaths and more than 200 new COVID-19 cases in Manitoba Thursday.
There are 218 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 70,551.
New cases include 121 people who are fully vaccinated, 80 people who are not vaccinated, and 17 people who are partially vaccinated.
There are 1,753 active cases and 67,439 recoveries.
New cases by region include:
- 108 in Winnipeg
- 36 in Southern
- 34 in Northern
- 23 in Prairie Mountain
- 17 in Interlake-Eastern
Manitoba's five-day test positivity rate is 6.6 per cent.
Hospitalizations and deaths
Two more people have died, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,359.
There are 139 people in the hospital, with 85 of those people having active cases. Out of the active cases, 52 people are not vaccinated, four people are partially vaccinated, and 29 people are fully vaccinated.
There are 33 people in intensive care, with 23 of those people having active cases. Twenty one people with active cases are not vaccinated, one person is fully vaccinated, and the other person is partially vaccinated.
