Those in the southern part of the province could be seeing a bit of a light show the next couple nights.
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), there will be some Auroa Borealis activity tonight (Friday, July 25) and Saturday.
Tonight, almost all of Canada could see the Northern Lights, as the NOAA says tonight Aurora is forecasted to be at Kp 2.
The Kp index ranges from 0 to 9 and measures the geomagnetic activity, which then indicated how far from the northern pole the Aurora will be seen.
In the Kp range of 0 to 2, the Aurora will be far north, with low intensity and much activity.
Saturday night, the Aurora is expected to be sitting at Kp 5, which means the Aurora will have moved further from the poles, and will be brighter, along with more Auroral activity.
The Aurora will have moved far enough south, that even the northern States will be able to catch glimpses of the light at night.
