 July 28th Report: 

Breach of the Peace / IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act) 

Between July 27-28th during a 24-hour period, four individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace and one for IPDA. They were held in BPS detention cells and were released once sober. 

 Utter Threats / Theft Under $5000 

On July 27th at 6:28PM Police were called to a residence in the 500 block of Rosser Avenue East as two contractors were there arguing. One of the males left prior to Police arrival, while the one remaining claimed the other stole his cell phone and threatened him. The 64-year-old male was located and arrested. He was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of October 2nd, 2025. 

 Assault with a Weapon / Possession of a Weapon 

On July 27th at 1:29PM an employee from a business in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue called to report a 34-year-old male was at their location and produced a knife when asked to leave. He left prior to Police arrival. He was located in the area and arrested without incident. He was held in BPS detention cells to be released on an Undertaking once sober. A court date of October 2nd, 2025 has been set. 

 

July 27th Report: 

Theft Under 

 At 3:18pm on Saturday, July 26th, Police received a report of a theft of some products from a business located in the 900 block of Victoria Ave. The 35-year-old female suspect was located in the area, arrested without incident, charged and released on an Undertaking to appear in Court in September. 

 Warrants Executed 

  • On Saturday, July 26th at 8pm Police conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Princess Ave. A passenger in the vehicle was found to have an Endorsed Warrant for his arrest. The 22-year-old male was arrested and then released on an Appearance Notice with a Court date set in August. 

  • On Saturday evening at 11:19pm Police stopped a vehicle in the 3300 block of Victoria Ave. The 44-year-old female operator of the vehicle was found to have an Endorsed Warrant for her arrest. She was released on an Appearance Notice with Court scheduled in September. 

Breach of Peace 

Within the last 24 hours 5 people were arrested for Breach of Peace and lodged in cells at BPS. 

Intoxicated Persons Detention Act 

Within the last 24 hours an additional 5 people were found to be highly intoxicated in public and held at BPS to be released when sober.
