A Heat Warning has been issued in Southern Alberta, including part of Foothills County.

Southern Alberta has seen its share of thunderstorms and rain alerts in recent weeks, and now, a Heat Warning has been issued.
Environment Canada issued the warning early Wednesday morning, with daytime highs near 30°C and overnight lows between 14°C and 18°C.
The warning is in effect for the following areas:
- Foothills Co. near Blackie, Alta. (072620)
- Siksika Res. 146, Alta. (072633)
- Vulcan Co. near Arrowwood Herronton and Queenstown, Alta. (072641)
- Vulcan Co. near Vulcan and Ensign, Alta. (072642)
- Vulcan Co. near Carmangay and Champion, Alta. (072643)
- Vulcan Co. near Lomond Travers and Little Bow Reservoirs, Alta. (072644)
- Vulcan Co. near Milo, Alta. (072645)
Environment Canada expects the warning to remain in place until the weekend.
People are advised to reschedule outdoor activities, take frequent breaks from the heat, and stay hydrated.
Residents should also watch for signs of heat-related illness, such as high body temperature, fainting, confusion, and lack of sweating.
