Several businesses around Winnipeg will be operating on different hours on Monday because of Terry Fox Day and the long weekend. 

Here is a list of what is open and closed on Monday, August 4, 2025:

• Outlet Collection Winnipeg - 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• CF Polo Park - 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• St. Vital Shopping Centre - 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Kildonan Place - 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Grant Park Shopping Centre - 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Garden City Shopping Centre - 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Grocery Stores & Retailers

• Costco - 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Walmart - 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Safeway/Sobeys - Hours vary by store location
• Home Depot - 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Rona/Lowes - 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• IKEA - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

City Services

• City of Winnipeg outdoor pools, spray pads, and select wading pools - Open (Weather permitting)
• Outdoor swimming lessons - Closed
• All City indoor pools - Closed
• All City fitness and leisure centres - Closed
• All Winnipeg Public Libraries - Closed Sunday, August 3 and Monday, August 4
• Winnipeg Transit - operates on a Sunday schedule
• The Animal Services Agency - Closed
• Brady Road Resource Management Facility (Brady Road Landfill) - 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot - 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Golf Courses

• Canoe Club, Crescent Drive, Kildonan Park, and Windsor Park golf courses will remain open throughout the long weekend, weather permitting 

Cemeteries

• Brookside Cemetery - 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. However, the Administration Office at will be closed on Monday, August 4
• Transcona Cemetery - 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• St. Vital cemetery - 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Other

• Canadian Museum for Human Rights - Closed
• Winnipeg Art Gallery-Qaumajuq - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Manitoba Museum - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
