Elmwood hosts RBC PGA Scramble qualifier

Elmwood Golf Club is set to host a qualifying round for the RBC PGA Scramble starting on Monday.

It's an event for golfers of all abilities.

"The RBC PGA Scramble presented by BMW is one of the largest grassroots amateur golf programs in the country," said Wayne Macphee, Senior Manager of the RBC PGA Scramble. "We'll see 12,000 to 13,000 participants."

The event at Elmwood is 1 of 189 local qualifiers taking place all across the country.

The low net score from the Swift Current event advances to the regional final at the Willows Club in Furdale.
