Here is a list of five things happening in and around Moose Jaw this long weekend: 

Take Me Out to The Ball Game, Saturday 

The Moose Jaw Miller Express take on the Swift Current 57s in Western Canadian Baseball League action at Ross Wells Park. 

The first pitch is at 7:05 p.m. 

Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast, Saturday 

Join the Rotary Club of Moose Jaw Wakamow for their Saturday pancake breakfast fundraiser. 

The pancake breakfasts take place every Saturday in July and August at the Kiwanis Pavillion in Wakamow Valley from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $10 of adults and $5 for kids 10 and under. 

All proceeds from the event go towards supporting local and international Rotary projects. 

Hop on a Trolley Tour, Saturday and Sunday 

Hop on board Tourism Moose Jaw’s trolley tours this weekend. 

The daytime tours run at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday with a mini tour at 1 p.m. It also runs Sunday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.  

The True Crimes Tour runs at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. 

The Ghost Tours are at 10:15 p.m. on Saturday and 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. 

Craik Ranch Rodeo, Sunday 

The Craik Ranch Rodeo is taking place on Sunday at the Craik Ag Grounds. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. with a gate free of $10 and free for children five and under. 

Eight teams have registered to compete and there will be a calf scramble and mutton bustin’ for the kids. The 4-H group will have a concession and the Elephant Bar and Grill will have a beer gardens. 

Celebrate International Owl Awareness Day, Monday 

Celebrate International Owl Awareness Day at the Saskatchewan Burrowing Owl Interpretive Centre on Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. 

There will be a magic show presented by Magic by Chris, face painting, free treats for the first 100 guests, gift draws and much more.
