Child killed in collision in Ogema

A boy under the age of 10 was killed following a collision in Ogema on Thursday.

Coronach RCMP were called to the scene of a collision at the intersection of Bradley Street and Saskatchewan Avenue in Ogema at 5:30 p.m. yesterday. Also responding were local fire and EMS.

Police say a vehicle and a child on a bicycle collided and the child was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle remainder at the scene. Police are continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP reconstructionist.
