The Moose Jaw Police Service is asking for the public's assistance in a hit and run involving a pedestrian on Saturday.

Police were called at approximately noon to the intersection of First Avenue Northeast and Oxford Street East.

Police say the suspect fled east on Oxford Street in what is believed to be a red pickup truck. The victim was taken to hospital with what is described as serious injuries.

The Moose Jaw Police Service is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect by checking their home or business security cameras from between 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Anyone with information regarding the incident or has video footage of the pickup truck is asked to come forward and contact the police at (306) 694-7600. Police are also asking the suspect to come forward to the police.
