Gimli RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a 66-year-old man who has been missing since Friday evening.
Ralph Osterwald was last seen on August 1 at about 7 p.m. leaving a residence in Gimli on a greenish-gray mountain bike. Before leaving, he told family he was going for a bike ride but has not been seen since.
Concern for Osterwald’s wellbeing has grown, prompting police and family to launch a search in the Gimli area.
Osterwald is about six feet tall, thin build, with thinning grey hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a cowboy hat, fleece jacket, and blue jeans.

RCMP are actively looking for him and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Gimli RCMP at 204-642-5106. Tips can also be made anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
The search continues as the community hopes for Osterwald’s safe return.
