Child killed in bike collision in Ogema

Coronach RCMP are investigating a fatal collision involving a child on a bicycle in Ogema, Saskatchewan.

Around 5:30 p.m. on July 31, emergency crews were called to the intersection of Bradley Street and Saskatchewan Avenue. Investigators say a vehicle struck a child on a bike. The child, a boy under the age of 10, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. His family has been notified.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.

The investigation is ongoing with assistance from a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
