The Alberta RCMP stated in a Wanted Wednesday post that Dustin Edward Wood is wanted for various crimes, with listed areas of activity including Airdrie and other Alberta communities.
Wood was last known to be in Calgary. According to the post, his areas of activity also include Irricana, Sherwood Park, Okotoks, Black Diamond, Canmore, Brooks, Acme, Coaldale, Strathmore, Langdon, and Beiseker.
“DO NOT APPROACH,” the RCMP stated in bold lettering.
“This individual is wanted by the RCMP for various crimes,” the post read. “Warrants must NOT be acted upon without first confirming the validity of the record with the originating agency.”
RCMP said Wanted Wednesday selections are based on “a data-driven scoring system using the Crime Severity Index to identify the individuals causing the most harm to communities.” The agency added that “factors such as age, gender, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, religion, sexuality, or disability are not considered in the scoring process.”
