Pioneer Acres Annual Show
When: Friday, August 8-10th
Where: 263178 Twp 274 Rd, Irricana AB
What to expect: A weekend of fun for all generations. Experience life the way it used to in the old days with vintage machinery and traditional farming techniques for your viewing. This year’s theme includes a special nod to Caterpillar Equipment’s 100-year anniversary. Grab a bite from the concession and enjoy so many fun games, not to mention the line dancing classes on site. You won’t want to miss out!
Doin’ it in the Grass
When: August 9th 10:00 am-5:00 pm
Where: Nose Creek Park
What to expect: The 24th annual car show is back! Register your classic car for display for a chance to win a show title, or just stop by and admire the vehicles while scanning to enter for the Ram 1500.
RCMP Musical Ride
When: August 9-10th
Where: Century Downs Casino
What to expect: A team of 32 riders and horses are ready to bring you a spectacular show, showcasing their equestrian skills. Each day, witness a different group of performers here to entertain you. All ticket proceeds go towards Stephen’s Backpack Society.
Didsbury Backyard Get Together
When: Aug 11, 1-3
Where: 1606-14th Street Didsbury
What to expect: A Backyard get-together with outdoor games and fun for 8-11-year-olds.
Airdrie Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament
When: August 12, 8:00 am
Where: Woodside Golf Course
What to expect: From prizes to great company, enjoy a game of Texas scramble that will surely leave a smile on your face.
