The Killarney-Turtle Mountain Arts Council (KTMAC) is hosting a special exhibition this month of August that will feature the works of their own members, and the Opening Reception for that is this evening! All are welcome to attend the meet and greet and enjoy an evening at the Heritage Home for the Arts gallery.
"For the first time in a little while, we moved our KTMAC members' exhibition to August so that, you know, more cousins and relatives and visitors and tourists would be able to see some of the talent that is hidden all around our community here," shares Art Administrator, Giselle Beaupre. "And also, the Board has decided that that would be their night for members appreciation as well. So, lots of free goodies, as in some good after supper snacks and beverages will be on hand with a whole ton of our talented artists."

The evening will also feature special music and some poetry reading to make the event extra special.
"It will be very casual, very 'come and go'," adds Beaupre. "We will have a little mini program at 7:30 because we also have one of our members who isn't right from Killarney is a poet and we are going to have some poetry reading, and we're going to have some other ambiance type of musical entertainment. It will be a fun gathering of people just talking to each other and getting to know each other and looking at all of this amazing art that is in here in the gallery."
This evening's Opening Reception for the Members' Exhibition takes place from 7-9 pm at the Heritage Home for the Arts, Killarney.
