With Cochrane’s fall municipal election fast approaching, the Town is now recruiting temporary election workers.
Positions are available from October 10 to 24, covering paid training, advance polling, election day responsibilities, and post-election ballot counting.
Key availability for workers includes:
- Mandatory training: Friday, October 10, 2025
- Advance voting: October 11, 14, 16 and 18, 2025
- Election day: Monday, October 20, 2025
- Ballot counting: October 21–24, 2025
Workers will earn $33.17 an hour while gaining valuable civic experience and helping support the local democratic process.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old and legally entitled to work in Canada. No prior experience is required—just a commitment to ensuring the election runs smoothly.
Interested residents are encouraged to apply and play a key role in their community’s municipal election.
