Airdronian Hayley Isabel's busy summer continues as a new song is on the way, with more performances on the way.

During the Friday of the August long weekend, Isabel performed at the Strathmore Stampede.

"I got to play with a full band for the second time ever in my life, and it was so fun. The crowd was just amazing as well."

And on Sunday, she made the trip to Camrose for the Big Valley Jamboree.

"This was the third time I've performed on the Horizon Youth Stage. I think it is such a great event and allows kids to perform and share their passion for music."

She concluded by saying it was probably the best August Long Weekend she has ever had.

She is also working on creating a new song.

"I will be releasing a single this year. I am so excited to record and release this song with a music video."

She is still unsure when the new song will be released, but is excited for her fans to hear it when it is released.

This weekend, she will be performing on the secondary stage at Country Thunder Alberta.

"That will probably be the biggest performance I've ever done, and I couldn't be more excited about it."

She will be playing on Friday, August 15, at 3:30 p.m.

Earlier this summer, she had a busy week performing multiple shows at the Calgary Stampede.
