Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure’s Emergency Management Organization is advising that provincewide state of emergency under the Emergency Measures Act will be extended to Aug. 22 due to ongoing wildfires across Manitoba.

The state of emergency was declared on July 10 and remained in effect for 30 days. This extension will keep the state of emergency in place until Aug. 22.
