Southern Manitoba saw varied rainfall amounts from yesterday through early this morning, as reported by Manitoba Agriculture.

Below is a list of readings, which includes Thursday up until 7 a.m. on Friday:

  • Carberry: 11.0 mm 
  • Elm Creek: 10.9 mm
  • Austin: 10.8 mm
  • Brandon: 10.6 mm 
  • Eriksdale: 6.9 mm (0.27 inches)

The rainfall comes amid an ongoing air quality warning caused by widespread smoke across the region.

Showers and thunderstorms should ease up this morning, but more are possible late this afternoon with a 60% chance and a risk of storms. High near 24, but it’ll feel like 32 with the humidex. Tonight, showers linger early before clearing near midnight, low 16.

Saturday brings more clouds, showers, and gusty winds up to 50 km/h, with a high around 22. Sunday looks partly sunny and a bit warmer at 23.
