The Okotoks Dawgs swept the WCBL Semi-Finals last night.

With a 9-2 win over the Brooks Bombers, the Dawgs are now one step closer to winning their fourth championship in a row.

The Dawgs were able to jump ahead early and maintain control for the rest of the game.

Thanks to timely hitting and a dominant pitching start, they were able to limit the Bombers' chances of scoring while maximizing their own.

Nash Crowell had a stellar performance last night, as he went 4-for-4, with two home runs and six RBIs.

Meanwhile, Ricardo Sanchez added two hits and an RBI, and Barry Eiseman also chipped in for the win with a 3-hit game.

Leo Cote and Connor Crowson were also standouts of the night.

Cote drove in a run and got a walk, while Crowson got a hit, a walk, and a run.

The pitching team also added to the win.

Ryan Rembisz allowed just three hits and one run over seven innings, all while striking out 12 players.

While Frank Flores struggled in relief, allowing three hits and one run in less than one inning, Chase Tucker closed out the night with a clean inning, allowing just one hit and striking out two.

The Okotoks Dawgs are now set to host game one of the WCBL West Division Finals this Sunday (August 10) at Seaman Stadium.

They'll face the winner of the Sylvan Lake Gulls vs. Lethbridge Bulls semi-final series. Game 1 saw the Gulls take an 8-0 win, and Game 2 is tonight atĀ Gulls Field.
