The Estevan Public Youth Centre is diving into the weekend with a water balloon event and free swim, followed by a TikTok-themed game night on Monday and a music and trivia collaboration later this month.

“Our water balloon Appaloosa evening is actually going to happen this evening at EPYC,” said Bonnie Chepil-Kvamme, co-executive director of EPYC. “So join us for some splish splash fun, and we're going to carry on with that water theme.”

The evening will continue with a free swim at the Estevan Leisure Centre from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

“We've got the wibit in there. So hang on, it's going to be slippery fun,” Chepil-Kvamme said.

EPYC’s Monday programming returns Aug. 11 with a TikTok mystery box game.

“We've just kind of been coming up with whatever—whatever we think is like a good idea for an extra day,” said Osama Kamel, a summer staff member. “This one... is going to be a TikTok mystery box game, which I don't know if you've seen the videos, but it's pretty special.”

“No registration required,” Chepil-Kvamme added. “Just come on down to the centre at 5:30 August 11th, and you will be sure to have an entertaining and intriguing evening.”

Later in the month, EPYC will host a ticketed event at Eddie Webster’s featuring music and trivia.

“We are going to be having an evening of music and trivia at Eddie Webster's,” Chepil-Kvamme said. “Tickets will be $10 each. Stay tuned for details.”
