August 8, 2025 is the one-year anniversary of the death of a 26-year-old, Tanner Barry Keeper, and investigators are still searching for answers.
Members of the Traffic Division continue to investigate and are asking for the public assistance to help identify the vehicle and driver involved in the incident.
At approximately 3:30 a.m. on August 8, 2024, a male was located at Queen Elizabeth Way and Mayfair Avenue with serious injuries.
He was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim was later identified as Keeper.
Through the investigation, it is believed Keeper was crossing Queen Elizabeth Way when he fell. As he was getting up, a southbound vehicle struck him.
Investigators have now obtained video footage of the incident and believe the vehicle to be a dark coloured, early 2000’s Buick Lesabre.
