From mutton bustin’ to wild pony racing, some of the most beloved events of the Labour Day weekend give the youngest riders their moment to shine during the 59th annual rodeo, Aug. 29 to Sept. 1.
Mutton bustin’ is open to kids 6 and under (60lb limit), wild pony racing for ages 7–12, and the wild cow race is for the fearless 18-plus crowd.
Riders are urged to bring their own helmets and vests — and a heap of cowboy grit.
